Written by the designer in US terms, round by round, with the stitch count after each round and the assembly at the end.

Sunny the Smiling Flower
Skill level: easy.
DK weight yarn (CYC 3), 3 mm hook. US terms. Work round pieces in a continuous spiral; mark the first stitch of each round. Work the scarf back and forth in rows. Keep the start of each round at the centre back: the assembly notes count from there, with the front opposite it.
Estimated gauge: 17 sc and 18 rounds per 10 cm. Check with a sample before relying on the dimensions.

Stitch maths checked: every round uses exactly the stitches of the round before.
Colours: green, yellow, red, blue, blush, brown.
Yarn (an estimate with 15% spare): about 32 m green, about 38 m yellow, about 60 m red, about 60 m blue, about 2 m blush, about 1 m brown.
Safety eyes: 2 x 14 mm (dark red).
