Every part of your animal is a shape crocheted in the round: a ball for the head, an egg for the body, tubes for arms and legs, cones for tails and long ears. The generator walks each shape one round at a time, works out how many single crochet fit around it for your yarn, and writes the rounds the way published patterns do: 6 in a magic ring, then increases and decreases spread evenly, with stitch counts after every round and assembly notes for where each part is sewn.

No. You tap a starter such as the bear, bunny or cat, or start from a body, then add heads, ears, arms, legs and tails from a tray. Sliders set the size in centimetres, a palette sets the colour, and you drag a part over the body to move where it is sewn on. There are no vertices, meshes or cameras to learn.

Single crochet only, worked in a continuous spiral from a magic ring, with increases (two single crochet in one stitch) and invisible decreases. The pattern is written in US terms with the count in brackets after every round, so it reads like any amigurumi pattern you have followed before.

Yes. Pick thin, medium or thick yarn and the generator adjusts how many stitches and rounds your sizes need. The 3D preview is drawn from the same rounds, so what you see is what the instructions make.
