Free Amigurumi Bunny Pattern with Long Ears (US Terms)
A free amigurumi bunny pattern: round body and head, long cone ears, arms, legs and a pom tail, all in single crochet with stitch counts.
A bunny is a bear with better ears. This one has long, pointed ears crocheted as narrow cones, a round tail, and the same friendly proportions as our bear, so the two make a good pair. Single crochet only, about 20 cm from feet to ear tips in medium (DK) yarn.

- 3.5 mm crochet hook

- A yarn needle, a stitch marker, and safety eyes (8 mm) or black yarn to embroider the eyes

Tips
- The ears are worked from the tip down. Do not stuff them, or stuff only the bottom third, so they can flop or stand as you like.
- Sew the ears close together on top of the head, a stitch or two apart. Wide-set ears read as a donkey.
- For a fluffy tail, brush the finished tail ball with a stiff brush, or swap it for a small pom-pom.

What yarn and hook do I need for this amigurumi bunny?
Any medium (DK or light worsted) yarn with a 3.5 mm hook. Go a hook size smaller than the yarn label says so the stuffing does not show through. Thin yarn with a 2.5 mm hook makes a smaller bunny; chunky yarn with a 5 mm hook a bigger one.
Is this pattern in US or UK terms?
