A soft, woolly tweed yarn in DK weight, with a neutral taupe-grey base and colourful flecks. The coloured flecks come from hand-dyed yarn leftovers that have been collected and reused in production.
The leftovers are carded again and blended with recycled wool and Falkland merino wool before being spun into a new yarn. The result is a yarn in which 50 % of the content in total is recycled material.
The yarn is soft but still has a naturally woolly feel. It is not superwash treated and blooms into a beautifully full texture after washing. The neutral colour with its playful flecks is especially lovely for sweaters and cardigans.
About dye lots:
Colour and shades may vary between skeins, even within the same dye lot. If you order several skeins, we do our best to choose ones that go well together.
We recommend buying enough yarn for the whole project, as future dye lots may differ from the current one. Please also note that colours may look slightly different on different screens.
