Free Amigurumi Bear Pattern (Beginner Friendly, Single Crochet Only)
A free amigurumi bear pattern in US terms: body, head, snout, ears, arms and legs in single crochet, with stitch counts and assembly notes.
A small, round bear with a snout and stubby arms and legs: the classic first amigurumi. This pattern uses nothing but single crochet, increases and decreases, so if you can crochet a magic ring you can make him. He comes out about 15 cm tall in medium (DK) yarn.

Materials
- Medium (DK or light worsted) yarn in the main colour, about 60 g, plus a little cream for the snout
- 3.5 mm crochet hook
- Fibrefill stuffing
- A yarn needle, a stitch marker, and safety eyes (8 mm) or black yarn to embroider the eyes

Assembly

- Sew the legs to the body at round 18, 5 stitches apart.

Tips
- Stuff the head and body firmly and the limbs lightly. Firm stuffing is what makes the rounds sit smoothly.
- Sew the snout on before the eyes, so you can place the eyes just above it and get the expression you want.
- Pin the arms and legs in place before sewing and turn him around once. Ten seconds of pinning saves twenty minutes of re-sewing.
