Silk Alpaca 50g

Silkpaca is an exclusive lace-weight yarn in a soft, silky blend of 70 % baby alpaca and 30 % silk. The yarn is fine and light, with a subtle halo that gives the garment an airy, elegant look.

Despite its fine weight, Silkpaca is plied and stable, which makes it especially lovely for lace knitting and other light projects where you want a soft drape and a luxurious feel.

Ideal for: Lace knitting, shawls, scarves and fine, airy garments.

Note: Colours may vary between dye lots and, in some colours, even between skeins from the same dye lot. We therefore recommend buying enough yarn for the whole project. For a more even colour distribution, you can alternate between two skeins as you work.
