Written pattern
Written by the designer in US terms, round by round, with the stitch count after each round and the assembly at the end.
Person Skill level: easy. DK weight yarn (CYC 3), 3 mm hook. US terms. Work in a continuous spiral; mark the first stitch of each round. Keep the start of each round at the centre back: the assembly notes count from there, with the front opposite it. Estimated gauge: 17 sc and 18 rounds per 10 cm. Check with a sample before relying on the dimensions. sc = single crochet, inc = 2 sc in the same stitch, dec = invisible decrease, st = stitch, Rnd = round Stitch maths checked: every round uses exactly the stitches of the round before. Colours: mint, cream, black, white. Yarn (an estimate with 15% spare): about 31 m mint, about 19 m cream, about 6 m black, about 9 m white. Also: stuffing, a stitch marker and a yarn needle. Stitch numbers count from the first stitch of a round: keep a marker in it, with the round start at the centre back.
